Virtual MUTEK

virtual.mutek.org is an immersive and custom-made virtual platform showcasing performances, conferences, interactive artworks, sounds and more. It is an evolving exhibition space, gathering digital and physical practices from creators around the world, defying comfort zones in an artist-centred virtual playground. The platform was catalyzed by the inability in 2020 to host a fully-fledged MUTEK Festival, landing on a hybrid festival format instead. This virtual pivot allowed MUTEK to continue showcasing content from Québec and Canadian talents, and widen our welcome of international projects - all while providing a shared experience that’s both immersive and interactive.

In between festivals, virtual.mutek.org currently showcases a selection of performances from the archives of our past virtual festivals, and welcomes special collaborations.
