El productor pionero, DJ, diseñador y responsable del sello PLZ Make It Ruins Vegyn -nombre real Joseph Thornalley- debutará en MUTEK Barcelona con un show Live AV de su último álbum en solitario, "The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions", cuyo lanzamiento está previsto para abril de 2024.
"The Road To Hell..." surgió de un espacio de experimentación fluida. A menudo viajando como parte de su trabajo como productor y jefe de sello, Thornalley escribió las nuevas canciones en estudios, salas de estar y habitaciones de hotel de todo el mundo. El resultado es su obra más lograda y cohesionada hasta la fecha y cuenta con John Glacier, Matt Maltese, Léa Sen, Lauren Auder y Ethan P. Flynn.Vegyn's shape-shifting musical output as a solo artist has so far tended to fall into extremes; partly known for his excess, working tirelessly with some of the world's biggest rap and R&B artists (including Frank Ocean, Travis Scott and JPEGMAFIA), and unleashing mixtapes of 70+ tracks. This new record is the culmination of many years’ experience and refinement and is the sound of an artist truly at the top of his game.
