What can I expect from MUTEK AR?
From MUTEK AR you can expect the unexpected. It will be a week full of exciting activities to explore the most innovative in digital art and multimedia creativity.
Since 2017, MUTEK AR presents immersive experiences, futuristic music, cutting-edge audiovisuals and artists that set the pace of technological media in Argentina and the world, with a proposal that has made it a reference innovation festival in Argentina and South America.
What is the location of the event?
MUTEK AR is a multi-format experience that each year takes different venues in emblematic spaces of Buenos Aires. For this edition, some of the venues are Teatro Alvear, Planetario BA, Artlab, Deseo and more to be confirmed.
What's coming up for MUTEK AR Festival 2024?
You will be able to live the MUTEK AR experience from October 2 to 5, and you can already secure your access to all programs through the Blind Passports!
How long does the experience last in total?
The festival activities will take place over four days, from October 2 to 5, and you can access them depending on the type of ticket you purchase. If you want to fully immerse yourself in all the innovation that MUTEK AR has to offer, we suggest you purchase the Passport—each program is unique!

How much does the ticket cost?
Ticket prices vary according to the type of ticket and the number of events included. Check our box office here and here for updated prices.
IMPORTANT: prices do not include fees.
What is the official ticketing system for the event?
Official MUTEK tickets can only be purchased through the Tickets menu on our website.

What is the difference between Passport and General Ticket?
A Passport is the ticket that grants you access to A/Visions, Play 1 and 2, Nocturne and grants you access to the Planetarium's fulldome programming.
A General or Individual Ticket only grants you access to the specific program or event to which it belongs, for example: A/Visions 1, Play, Nocturne.
How many A/Visions shows are there and which one can I attend?
There is only one performance of A/Visions on October 2 at the Teatro Alvear.
Can the ticket be exchanged or refunded if I am unable to attend?
Due to our company policy, we do not exchange or refund tickets. In any case, we have something for you: give your ticket as a gift to a friend or family member and let them enjoy the Festival in your place.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone.
Is my ticket valid for another day?
Tickets are purchased for a specific time slot. The time shown on the ticket is an ORIENTATIVE TIME in order to optimize access to the event and organize the flow of people.
We cannot guarantee access to the event outside the times indicated on the ticket when the capacity of subsequent sessions is full. The ticket is NOT valid for another day.
Can I make a group reservation?
If you wish to make a reservation for a group of more than 10 people, please contact us here with the subject: "group reservation for MUTEK AR".
What are COVID's security measures?
The experience complies with the regulations in force in the Republic for the management of COVID-19.
Is there accessibility for people with disabilities?
All areas are accessible to people with reduced mobility, wheelchairs and strollers.
What are the age requirements?
The A/Visions programs admit children from 12 years of age with paid admission and accompanied by an adult.
Is parking available?
There are many private parking lots in the vicinity of our venues and their cost is independent of the Festival. To avoid traffic jams, we suggest you arrive by public transportation or carpooling.
