Festival Edition 7

Welcome to the seventh edition of MUTEK.AR
From the 1st to the 5th of October 2025, over 20 performances, 5 days and 5 locations.
Firmly implanted in Buenos Aires' cultural circuit, MUTEK.AR announces its 7th Edition, with five days of activity distributed between some of the most iconic cultural spaces of the city. Since 2017, the festival has drawn up its own urban map, redefining historical buildings with an eye for contemporary audiovisual media.
In 2025, two revered institutions join MUTEK's circuit: the Teatro Colón's Center of Experimentation (CETC) and the Teatro San Martín's Martín Coronado stage. The city's Planetarium, Deseo, and Artlab —home of MUTEK— are also on the schedule, hosting varied activities and experiences during the event.
An annual date with discovery
In the vast universe of festivals, where formulas and prefabricated scenes are sometimes repeated ad nauseam, MUTEK.AR sets itself apart as a ticket to amazement and discovery. Ridding itself of hierarchies and conventional formatting, the festival offers programming that explores the cutting edge of digital art today: processes that combine art, technology, science and thought. Look out for the full lineup announcement in late July!
MUTEK.AR: present
