Claudine HubertCA/QC
Claudine Hubert is a writer and independent curator of digital and visual art, with a interest in the artistic potential of AI, performance and institutional structures. She has been active in the Canadian cultural milieu for over fifteen years, most recently as General Codirector and Artistic Director of OBORO (2011-2018), where she instigated programs for artists such as the local artist residency, curatorial research programsand professional development workshops in digital arts.
She has been a board member of the RCAAQ and the IMAA and is today an active member of both Centre Clark and the Viva ! Art Action performance art festival. She holds a BA in Art History and an MA in translation studies. At MUTEK she is part of the Strategic Development team. Of settler descent, she was raised in the traditional territory of the Algonquin, in the Ottawa valley, and has lived Tiohtià:ke/Montréal since 1998.
