Visual artist, filmmaker and audiovisual producer, from Manaus, Amazonas, where she lives and works. She graduated in Social Communication at ProUni, and is also a Specialist in Cultural Production Management at the State University of Amazonas-UEA.
She understands the street as a space for dialogue with the city. She produces audiovisual installations that show films, photographs and video art. She uses photography and the audiovisual as a tool to propose self-esteem and question the eliminations of people of African descent; currently, she uses her body as the protagonist in the construction of her works.
She has extensive experience in the direction and production of audiovisual projects such as series and short films, as well as in the production of shows, festivals and performances in various artistic languages. She is manager of Grupo Picolé da Massa, member of the Association of Black Audiovisual Professionals of APAN, Nacional Trovoa and Coletivo Tupiniqueen.
In December 2021, she participated in the Artlab Artistic Residences x Amplify D.A.I program together with the sound artist and multi-instrumentalist Fernanda Flores (Symi). The collaborative work works on the idea of food and affectivity, combining performance and video art with experimental electronic music. This work will be presented in Live Set AV format at MUTEK Buenos Aires 2022.
