Side Programme - Industria Ritual

In conjunction with MUTEK AR's seventh edition, Comité357 presents an event within its Simposio 04 – “Industria Ritual”: an exploration of how objects and gestures, through design and repetition, become rituals that expand on day-to-day experiences.

19:00 hs – OPENING

• Constanza Schwartz + Francisco Rousset present an installation that weaves together light and sound, where the audience's movements activate a landscape of imaginary linework.

• Hef Prentice + Marcos Micozzi exhibit XYZ Sound Sculptures, their digital sculpture work, for the first time.
• Juan Ignacio Cabruja stages one of his iconic light interventions in the basement.

20:30–22:00 hs – PROLOGUE

SKSSS performs a live set as an opening act, intervening sonic fragments of Guxta's LPI 800-4 work. Guxta himself complements the ritual tattooing one of his statues' links to photographer Nita.

22:00–00:00 hs – GUXTA pres. LPI 800-4

Guxta's sculpture, the symposium's central piece, is reintepreted by Anormal x DISTORXION through audiovisual synthesis, a laser show divided in two phases: an ambient section working along Javier Medialdea, and an experimental portion charged with metallic tension.
